I would say…yea. I come from a Moroccan family and our food is SPICY. Try making something that already has a kick to it.

Sauce addition is strictly a personal preference.
I have been known to drown my food in tobasco sauce myself and I'm not from Morocco, nor am I male.
Some people just like it hot!

It's just the preference of some. My husband and his father don't do it because they doesn't like spicy food. His cousins do though because they like their food spicy.
