Do you feel bad for the cats you see in the street in Morocco?
~~∞§arah T∞©~~ asked:
I do. So does my cat Sophia, she sits in the window all American and fat, she throws food down to the Moroccan cats.
You are right Viktor. I certainly don't want to minimize that fact by going on about cats. I really agree with you actually, they get along on their own just fine. Have for thousands of years right?

Awwwww. I do feel bad when I see them. Insha'allah I'll get to take my big fat cat to Morocco to live one day — I thought she could use a diet. Maybe she'll become generous and share her food too — that way she'll have less to eat.
To Smiley below: The Moroccans I know think it is unnatural…although I am sure there are ppl that would think it is best. When I got my cat she was already spayed. My sil think my cat needs *** and is missing out.
I guess I would… BUT I've never been to Morocco…
BUT… there are street cats in Tehran, Iran as well…
There was this one black cat… that used to hang out in our backyard when I was little… I used to feed him every night…
I remember the first night I was scared of him… but my dad helped me feed him… n from that night on… he was at our house at the same time every night… waiting for his food
Once… I let him inside the house
… n my grandma was running after him… trying to catch him
cz he was all dirty n stuff
i know! especially in the casa area. its so sad. kids actually beat the,m and throw rcks at hem and kill them. >.
YES! I **** how many cats there are homeless in Morocco. My husband and I rescued one from a street in Sale and named him Tommy. He's a little monster but we love him anyway. Recently my husband nearly killed himself trying to rescue a kitten. He fell through the roof of an abandoned house while he was following the baby's crying. We would help them all if we could.
Why not catch them and get them spayed/neutered, then there will be fewer stray unloved cats in the near future?
I always feel bad for any homeless animal. I wish I could take them all but lol that would make me one of those crazy old ladies with too many pets and a smelly house.
I think cats can manage somehow, I feel much worse for some children I saw in the streets in Morocco - often forced to spend all their day begging with their mothers. It's a shame.
