Why does my friend in Morocco like to watch me?

Hello, My Moroccan friend is being good finally. One thing is funny. He loves to see me on my webcam. But, when I cook dinner, he always wants to watch me cook in the kitchen or if I rest on my couch, he wants to see me rest.. Ha! What is this?

I like real answers please. Yes, He just sits there and watches my cam. He loves to watch me cook in the kitchen. And, I show him different kinds of things I have in my kitchen. He loves it. And smiles. He is so happy when I do this. Sometimes he lays on his bed/couch just looking at me. When he is sad, he will sit against his wall on his bed/couch and just pout and cry at my cam.
