Moroccan clothing is influenced by history, traditions and culture and it is known for its bright styles all over the world. Two common Moroccan dresses are the djellaba and the kaftan.
The djellaba is a hooded gown that covers the entire body except for the head, hands and feet. The kaftan is basically the same however it does not have a hood. As with most clothing, the kaftan has changed with the trends of Moroccan fashion. Women tend to wear it for special occasions such as a wedding.
